Trei Real Estate, a real estate subsidiary of Tengelmann Group, opened its fourth Vendo park in Slovakia in Zlaté Moravce. The park is part of a transnational chain of specialist retail parks, offering 3,550 sqm of retail space for eight retailers and 127 parking spots. Michael Tauwinkl, managing director at Trei Real Estate in Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, says that demand for space far exceeds what the company had available and the new park was full before opening. Tenants at the Zlaté Moravce park include Deichmann, GATE, KiK, Orion, PEPCO, PLANEO Elektro, TEDi and Teta. The park profits from a synergy with the nearby Kaufland. Additional Vendo parks are scheduled to follow.
