14 May 2019

Tri-C Investments has completed a mezzanine financing deal enabling the development of a 220-room hotel and spa project in Prague 7 – Holešovice by the local developer GEONE owned by Milan Janku. To be built along the Vltava river, the ACCOR managed hotel will include retail and restaurants along a boardwalk as well as floating restaurants. The project has permits for the construction of a marina, spa and water-level residential space. The spa will be operated by the Infinity Brand.

Located on land adjacent to the Holesovice train station, the hotel’s two-tower design will offer unique views of the Vltava river and the affluent Troja residential area as well as of the Troja castle and vineyards. Groundworks have commenced with the project’s completion date set for the end of 2020. Tri-C Investments director and owner Per Hansson says that the financing deal enjoyed strong interest among the local high net worth individuals who participated in the bond-structured issue. He anticipates numerous opportunities for this type of deal in the future.

Tri-C Investment specializes in early-stage project financing and advising on real estate strategies and marketing. Hansson is currently finishing financing on another four residential projects currently under development as well as income yielding projects in Prague with GEONE which he placed with private investors from the Netherlands with whom he have already concluded successful transactions in Latvia, Poland, Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
