A joint venture between Fort Lincoln New Town Corp., The Concordia Group and Buvermo Investments has kicked off construction of a multifamily project in Washington, D.C. The plans call for a 236 unit complex of which 200 will be market-rate and 36 designated as affordable apartments. Located at 3750 Jamison St. N.E., the four- to five-story project will feature underground parking, fitness center, rooftop lounge, dog-washing station and a 10,000 square foot courtyard. Slated for completion in 2019, the scheme is being built by general contractor McCullough Construction and was designed by Hickok Cole Architects. Fort Lincoln New Town is located on 360 acres on high rolling land on the edge of the District of Columbia. The development of Fort Lincoln New Town is a public-private partnership and is guided by an Urban Renewal Plan.
