Tritax Big Box has purchased Amazon’s Kingston Park distribution facility in Peterborough for GBP 42.9m. The facility is one of Amazon’s prime logistics parks in the country, which has good links to major motorways such as the A1M and M1, with gross internal floor area of 51,077 sqm. Amazon currently has 7 other distribution centres across the UK, but this is the first time it will be working with Tritax.
The acquisition is added to Big Box’s portfolio of 31 logistic assets, including the newly acquired distribution centre in Manchester, which is currently let to cereal giant Kellogg Co.
