Turism Felix (TUFE) invested approximately €30m into Lotus Therme Spa & Luxury Resort in Baile Felix, near Oradea. The complex is a reconstruction of the former two-star Lotus hotel, which closed in 2006. The renovation work took five years. Financing was secured through a loan from Banca Transilvania. The hotel operator, controlled by SIF Transilvania and SIF Oltenia, expects to see a return on its investment in 10 to 15 years.
