Turkish-based Cemdag Lighting Europe to build plant in Macedonia

Turkish company Cemdag Lighting Europe is set to sign a greenfield investment agreement in Macedonia over the course of January 2018. The company will make a €5m in Technological Industrial Development Zone (TIDZ) Skopje 1, and sign an agreement with the government for long-term lease of the land in TIDZ Skopje 1. The deal is expected to result in the creation of 100 new jobs. This Turkish company, which was founded in 1968, has activities in Istanbul, Ankara and Bursa. With three production plans, it is one of the leaders of the Turkish lighting market, producing lighting systems for offices, homes and industrial lighting systems.
