Cushman & Wakefield Global Hospitality has been entrusted with the sale of two Marriott hotels in the Czech Republic, either individually or as a portfolio. The Courtyard by Marriott Prague Airport and Courtyard by Marriott Plzeň were both opened in 2007 and are operated under a management agreement by Marriott International. The Prague property offers a 234-room hotel and a retail gallery within walking distance from the Prague Ruzyně Airport terminals.
Courtyard by Marriott Plzeň includes a 195-room hotel, as well as offices, high-street retail and parking. It’s located in the historical center of the city of Plzeň. Frédéric Le Fichoux, head of Cushman & Wakefield’s CEE Hospitality Team, points to the fact that the combination of hotels, retail and office offers a stable guaranteed income. “Both hotels are operated by one of the leading management companies in the world and have been outperforming their market over the past years. With the hotel market in Prague and Plzeň continuing their recovery, we strongly believe that these properties will receive lot of interest from astute investors”, he says.
