John Ploem and Steve Openshaw were named partners of Deloitte Romania, bringing the total number of partners to 20. Ploem will serve as a tax partner as well as Chief Operations Officer, while Openshaw joins the company as an audit partner. Both have solid international experience. Ploem worked in the Czech Republic and Belgium as a tax consultant, and Openshaw worked for many years in Moscow and has held several management roles in the Commonwealth of Independent States. Openshaw is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
