25 October 2023

UBM Development has advanced to the rough construction phase of buildings G, H, I with 63 apartments and five commercial units in the Arcus City project in Prague – Řeporyje. The project is scheduled for occupancy in the fourth quarter of 2024 and future owners may move in in the second quarter of 2025. Lexxus Norton real estate agency is handling the sale of the project, which is being developed with BREEAM environmental certification.

After the completion of the reinforced concrete structure, the façade is being completed and the windows are being fitted. Work is moving to the interiors, where interior partitions will be bricked up and water, waste, electricity and HVAC systems will be installed. At the same time, landscaping will take place. Within the Arcus City complex, UBM is also constructing Timber Praha houses, the first multi-storey timber apartment buildings in the capital.

The second stage of Arcus City was awarded by the expert jury of the prestigious national competition Real Estate Project of the Year 2022. Buildings G, H, I are located in the centre of the residential complex, where a square with a relaxation zone is also being built. The residential buildings include a total of 63 units with layouts from 1 + kk to 4 + kk, ranging in size from 38.9 m2 to 101 m2, each of which includes a balcony, terrace or front garden, cellar and parking space in the underground garage. The apartments are equipped with large wooden windows and wooden floors. Retail units suitable for smaller shops or services will also be built on the ground floor. UBM is delivering the second phase with BREEAM environmental certification, which includes a standard of practice for the design and construction of buildings with an emphasis on sustainability and is a practical benchmark for describing a building’s environmental performance.

“We are delighted that the Arcus City project is already coming to life. New owners are currently moving into the first phase with 150 apartments, which is sold out. We believe that they will enjoy their new housing in the popular Řeporyje district. The interiors are bright thanks to large windows and offer nice views of the surrounding greenery. The demand for owning a home in Prague is still ongoing and we are seeing a lot of interest in our high standard units in Arcus City. We are currently offering buyers interesting incentives for the second phase, such as discounted prices or a cellar and free parking space in the price of the apartment,” comments Alice Slámová, Marketing and Sales Director of UBM Development Czechia.

The new district is characterized by a quiet family atmosphere, which is enhanced by the beautiful nature in the surroundings. At the same time, it has all civic amenities. Nearby there are schools, kindergartens, supermarkets, restaurants, post office and other shops. In Arcus City, a bus stop will be built connecting the residential area with the metro station B – Stodůlky, which will provide residents with excellent connections to the center of Prague (about 20 minutes). For pleasant walks you can go to the nearby Prokopské and Dalejské valleys or to the Řepora Biopark.
