UBM is partnering with Holiday Inn to develop Holiday Inn Warszawa in the city’s CBD. UBM had originally wanted to develop an office building on the Twarda street plot, but changed its plans over the summer. The four-star hotel will be the first Holiday Inn in Poland to offer an opened lobby with a bar and a 24-hour restaurant. The developer assigned Dan-Projekt to redesign the project. This is the fifth time UMB has teamed up with Holiday Inn. UBM is still waiting for a building permit for the project and expects to break ground in the first quarter of 2016, with construction expected to take 22 months. Costs are estimated at about €25m.
