A parking garage is to built in the center of Banja Luka, where a new shopping mall had been planned. Nenad Luburic and the company Ideal is backing the project for the new structure, which would have three underground levels. Construction is expected to last for one year and will require an investment of roughly €10m. Changes to the city’s planning documents are underway that would allow for the construction of an office building and a hotel on either side of the garage, on top of which a new city square will be created. The site had originally been intended for a new shopping center.
