Logistic companies have generated 40 percent of the demand seen on Upper Silesia’s warehouse market since the beginning of the year, according to AXI IMMO. This group of tenants includes TVM Transport and ALB Logistics, which AXI IMMO advised on lease transactions. Approximately 401,000 sqm of modern warehouse space in Upper Silesia was leased in the first half of 2017, coming in second behind Central Poland where 444,000 sqm was leased. Upper Silesia is also characterized by high-demand site dynamics, which increased 89 percent y-o-y. Increased demand for warehouse and production space has been mainly driven by an increase in automotive production.
