The American company Harbert International will build a new American embassy in Podgorica, worth a reported $295 million. The American embassy said that the new building will be erected on the site of the current embassy on John Jackson Street.
According to State Department tender documents, the project will consist of the design and construction of a new embassy office, a Marine Security Guard Residence, waste treatment facilities, shops, recreation facilities and safety enhancements.
The project will include the design and renovation of an access control building. Demolition of the existing office and temporary buildings will also be part of the project.
