Valamar is scheduled to break ground this fall on what will reportedly be the biggest resort in Croatia. The company, which is investing €106.8m in the project, will transform the former Pical 2* hotel in Porec into a five-star luxury resort. The property will offer around 500 accommodation units, seven bars and seven restaurants as well as swimming pools, a private beach and a congress center with a capacity of 1,200 guests.
