An affiliate Value Store It Inc. has paid $10 million for Extra Secure Self-Storage in Pompano Beach. The 76,236 square foot facility on N. Powerline Road, boasts 680 climate controlled storage units. The seller, GT Development LLC, led by Thomas P. Richerson, purchased the land in 2006 for $1.6 million and completed the building in 2010. The 1.6 acre facility changed hands for just over $14,705 per lock up. Michael A. Mele and Luke Elliott, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Tampa office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller. Based in Florida, Value Store It Inc. operates 14 properties on the East Coast under the Value Store It Self Storage brand.
