Van Hool to invest €15m in Skopje factory

Belgian bus manufacturing company Van Hool will invest €15 m over the next four years and another €15m in the plant it’s currently operating in Skopje. This is the result of an agreement signed between Viktor Mizo, the CEO of the Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones and the CEO of the Belgian company Filip Van Hool for a new plant that will create 400 new jobs in the Macedonian capital.

Van Hool plans to build a new depot this year and expand parts of the. In 2017/2018, the existing manufacturing lines will be doubled. The number of workers will rise to 1,250 by 2019, said the company’s CEO.
