The real estate developer Vastint, which has the same shareholder as the IKEA retailer, is increasing the share capital of its branches in Romania by EUR 105 million, according to the data published in the Official Monitor. It is one of the largest capital increases this year. After this increase, the capital of Vastint Romania is almost RON 874 million.
Vastint owns three office buildings in the Timpuri Noi Square project, with a leasable area of 52,000 sqm. Last year in May, the company obtained the authorization to build two more new office buildings, with 15 and eight floors respectively, with an investment of over EUR 100 million.
The company owns a 48-hectare plot of land in the Sisesti area of the capital, where the land is available for a giant housing project.
