The real estate developer Vastint Romania is preparing the demolition of the halls of the former Dâmbovița shoe factory in Bucharest, bought from the founders of the Exotique and Musette brands and from the Greek group Ellaktor.
The company bought in two separate transactions, in 2019 and 2021, several plots with a total area of 14,637 sqm. The transactions were carried out at a cumulative value of approximately EUR 20 million.
“The land, on which there are a series of buildings from the former Dâmbovița S.A. factory, represents a component of the Vastint portfolio and is part of the company’s long-term plans. For the moment we have not finalized our direction of action and development of this project and we have no plans to start work on this platform soon. Up to now and according to the legislation in force, we have carried out the first legal procedures to obtain the authorizations necessary for the process of dismantling the above mentioned buildings,” declared Vastint Romania representatives.
