Veselí nad Moravou in the Hodonín Region is preparing to sell another seven flats in the newly emerging Nová tržnice residence. The public tender will take place on December 8, said town hall spokeswoman Žaneta Jančaříková. According to her, there is a lot of interest in the flats and all 18 flats in building C have already been sold by the city, even though they are still under construction. In the next two years, 15 flats in building B and nine flats in building C should be built, ie a total of 42 flats.
Seven flats from building B will be offered for sale. The previous 18 flats from building A were sold by the city in the form of a public tender in three rounds, each time offering six flats. “The last round of six flats attracted 40 participants in September this year,” said Jančaříková. The person who offered the most money became the owner. One-room apartment was sold for more than two million, the price of two-room apartments exceeded three million crowns.
The city also saw great interest in land for the construction of family houses in the Hutník locality. “The growing demand for all dates of public tenders for both apartments and land has confirmed to us that the offer of quality housing in our city definitely makes sense. I am very pleased that young people who want to stay in Veselí are among the winning applicants,” he said. Mayor Petr Kolář (TOP 09).
It is young families with children who are trying to benefit the town hall in a public tender and can apply for a discount. The city has already sold all 18 apartments and space for five stores in building C, which is under construction. Two more buildings will be created, which will offer a total of 24 apartments. “Each new apartment has a parking space and a cellar, the building has an elevator. The entrance to the house is on a chip card and is provided with underfloor heating and recuperation. a new playground with a rest area,” said Kolář. The city also plans to offer additional plots for the construction of family houses in the first half of next year. There are about 50 plots near the primary school, some of which have already been sold.
Veselí nad Moravou is located in the southeast of the South Moravian Region in close proximity to the Uherské Hradiště district in the Zlín Region. The city has about 11,500 inhabitants. For this year, the city has an approved budget of around CZK 280 million.
