Romania’s Vestmoldtransgaz, part of Transgaz, broke ground on the 120 km Ungheni-Chisinau gas pipeline, which will integrate Moldova into the European energy market. Completion is set for 2020. The project will modernize and develop the existing energy system. Vestmoldtransgaz will build an operational complex near the Agrarian University of Chisinau which will include six buildings on 4 ha.
