VGP has signed two leases with HELLA AUTOTECHNIK NOVA. It is one of the largest employers in the automotive industry in the Czech Republic, specializing in the development and production of lighting technology and electronics for prestigious brands such as Volkswagen, Audi and BMW. In VGP Park Olomouc, it has leased more than 49,000 square meters of warehouse space: 10,000 sqm has been available since last November in the already completed Hall “I” and another 39,000 sqm will be created in the newly built Hall “F”, which aims for BREEAM certificate in the level of at least Very Good with emphasis on energy efficiency and sustainability. It will be handed over to the tenant for use in the fourth quarter of 2022.
HELLA AUTOTECHNIK NOVA has been operating in the Czech Republic since 1992 as a subsidiary of the German concern HELLA, a world leader with more than 120 years of tradition. It employs over 3,000 people and specializes in the production and development of headlights and taillights and lighting technology for the world’s largest carmakers. In addition to its headquarters in Mohelnice, it also operates in nearby Loštice, where part of the IT department is located, and in the Science and Technology Park in Ostrava, where the company’s technical center has expanded with the company’s gradual development.
VGP Park Olomouc is located close to the city of Olomouc, at exit 37 of the R46 expressway, while it has excellent connections to Brno, Ostrava, Hradec Králové and subsequently the surrounding states. Its location in the center of Moravia places it in the so-called industrial triangle together with Přerov and Prostějov. The VGP complex covers almost 48 hectares and offers 213,800 sqm of leasable space suitable for logistics or light manufacturing.
