The developer and owner of VGP’s semi-industrial and logistics properties obtained a building permit for the construction of a new hall “F” in the VGP Park Olomouc technology park and began its implementation. The first confirmed tenant for the planned premises is the company Ardon Safety, which is one of the leading suppliers of protective equipment and workwear not only in the Czech Republic, but also throughout Central Europe. The company currently operates in Hall J, where it leases 14,000 sqm. These premises are no longer of sufficient capacity for Ardon Safety, so the company decided to move them to a new hall, where it will lease 26,780 sqm of warehouse space. The hall will be completed and handed over for use in April next year.
“We consider the conclusion of a new lease agreement and the commencement of the construction of another hall to be an important step in the development of VGP Park Olomouc. It is currently already occupied by three quarters, while we are still negotiating with another serious applicant,” comments Šárka Havlíčková, commercial officer of VGP, and adds: “We are pleased to be able to offer Ardon Safety the possibility of new premises within the same park. suit the company and thus enable its further expansion. ”
VGP Park Olomouc covers almost 48 hectares and offers 213,800 sqm of leasable areas suitable for logistics or light manufacturing. Thanks to its location in the immediate vicinity of Olomouc, at exit 37 of the R46 expressway, it is easily accessible both from the city center and the surrounding area. It offers excellent connections to Brno or Ostrava and surrounding countries.
