VIB Vermögen AG is developing a logistics center just north of the city of Ingolstadt in Germany’s Bavaria region. The investment will offer 95,000 sqm of land space and is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2015. The project is expected to cost €34m. VIB has already signed a rental agreement for a third of the space with a logistics company and is currently negotiating with other prospective tenants.
“An ever greater scarcity of suitable commercial properties is facing growing demand from the economy in southern Germany. Consequently, we are positioning ourselves as a strong partner with our own developments, particularly for the logistics growth sector,” said Ludwig Schlosser, VIB’s CEO.
