19 August 2021

The Leipzig-based VICUS GROUP AG has acquired over 85 percent of the shares in K&P Objekt Hamburg, Hamburger Straße Immobilienfonds GmbH & Co. KG and is thus the new main shareholder. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

The fund company is the owner of the property at Bostel row 2, which extends over a 4,963 sqm plot and has a total area of 5,915 sqm GFA. Thanks to the existing expansion potential, the VICUS GROUP AG intends to carry out extensive further development measures in the coming years.

The sole tenant of the property is an established premium fitness club that, with over 37 years of experience, is one of the leading international providers of health and fitness care. The VICUS GROUP AG therefore assumes that no economically negative developments are to be expected even after the pandemic.

The property is located in the growing Hamburg district of Barmbek, which – in addition to its excellent transport links – is particularly impressive due to its proximity to the Outer Alster, which is within walking distance, and to Hamburg’s city center.

The VICUS GROUP AG buys commercial real estate in the top 8 locations and regional centers in Germany with individual transactions between EUR 10 and 100 million, portfolio transactions up to EUR 200 million as well as company and fund investments.
