Village at Hyde Park, an 80-unit affordable housing development in Jacksonville, Florida, is currently underway by Ability Housing. The $18.7m project is being financed by Florida Housing Finance Corporation, JPMorgan Chase, Enterprise Community Investment and the Corporation for Supportive Housing. Located in the city’s Westside submarket, Village at Hyde Park is going up less than 6 miles from the junction between interstates 10 and 295. The scheme includes 43 one-, 23 two- and 14 three-bedroom apartments; eight units will be designed for residents with hearing or vision impairments, and 20 others will be available to individuals with mobility impairments. Ability Housing purchased the 5-acre property for $450,000 in December 2017. Forum Architecture & Interior Design is the architect, with Sauer serving as general contractor.
