Vista Bank buys Crédit Agricole Romania

The French from Crédit Agricole sold the subsidiary Crédit Agricole Bank Romania to Vista Bank, the former Marfin Bank, now owned by the Vardinoyannis family from Greece. The transaction could be completed in the first part of the year, after being submitted to the approval of the BNR and the Competition Council.
Crédit Agricole was assisted in this transaction by the law firm Clifford Chance Badea, covering all stages of the sale process, starting with the preparation of documents necessary for the transaction, support in the buyer selection process – competitive process, regulatory advice, negotiation and signing sales agreement.
