The Montenegrin retailer Voli will build a new 14,000 sqm distribution center in Podgorica and plans to open two new stores. The €10m investment will €10m is being paid for by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which recently became a minority shareholder in the company.
Voli was founded in 1995 and is the leading retailer in Montenegro, with 57 food retail stores across the country and sales of €181m in 2014. The company’s majority shareholder is the businessman Dragan Bokan.
