In March 2022, the volume of construction works increased compared to February 2022 by 34.4 percent, according to the National Institute of Statistics. In March 2022, the volume of construction works increased by 4.6 percent compared to March 2021.
Compared to February 2022, the increase in the volume of construction works is highlighted as follows: new construction works (+ 40.0 percent), current maintenance and repair works (+ 25.5 percent) and capital repair works (+ 15.0 percent). Increases took place on construction objects as follows: non-residential buildings (+ 46.7 percent), engineering construction works (+ 42.6 percent) and residential buildings (+ 11.3 percent).
