Vorwerk Autotec, which produces spare parts for the automotive industry, is planning to build a factory near Cacak in central Serbia. The factory will go up on a 6 ha plot in the industrial zone in Preljina. The investment is valued at around €50m. Vorwerk Autotec intends to develop 40,000 sqm of production space on the site this year and an additional 65,000 sqm over the next six years. The German company said it will employ 1,000 people to work at its new factory. It produces parts for brands like Audi, BMW, Bentley and Volkswagen.
