Average gross monthly earnings in Hungary amounted to HUF 331,500 in March, an 11.3-percent increase y-o-y, according to the Central Statistical Office (KSH). Between January and March, both gross and net earnings grew by 12.4 percent compared to the equivalent three-month period of the previous year. The average gross monthly wage in the private sector grew 8.6 percent to HUF 342,400, while in the public sector, it jumped 19.3 percent to HUF 313,700.
