Warburg-HIH secures €52m to buy Budapest’s White House office building

Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate secured a €52m loan from pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank to purchase the White House office building in Budapest. Warburg-HIH acquired this LEED Platinum office building on Vaci street in June. The 22,300 sqm building was developed by GTC and completed in 2018. The facility is fully leased to tenants like Jaguar Land Rover, Spaces, BlackRock.

The deal underlines our continued strong interest in the CEE real estate markets, in particular in the office markets in key cities,” said Charles Balch, the UK, CEE and USA head of international clients at pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank.
