Warimpex to place new bond package in Q2

25 April 2014

Warimpex is planning to place a new package of bonds on the market in the second quarter. The company issued €2.16m in bonds last month. Warimpex CEO Franz Jurkowitsch said the new bond issue will make it possible for the company to start work on Chopin Office, its most recent office investment in Kraków which will provide 20,000 sqm of new commercial space to the market. “We expect to collect all the permits at the beginning of next year,” said Jurkowitsch. The company expects to have the project completed in the first quarter of 2017.

Warimpex announced earlier this week that the sell-offs of its hotel projects pushed its EBITDA profits up by 14.8 percent in the first quarter of the year, to €12.1m, but it still plans to continue its €50m bond program, in an effort to provide further growth for the company.
