The year has begun with signs that Warsaw’s office boom is accelerating, writes CBRE, which predicts that another 30 projects and 400,000 sqm of space will be delivered in the coming months. Most (46 percent) will be located in the city’s CBD. This suggests a challenging year for anyone with office space to lease, as observers expect take-up figures to drop in 2016. Growing vacancy will continue to hurt prime rents, which could go down to €23/sqm/month. Supply of new office space should cool off in 2017.
