Warsaw’s office supply could hit 330,000 sqm next year

Warsaw’s office supply could hit 330,000 sqm next year, its highest level since 2000, according to a recent survey by DTZ. The office stock in Warsaw has increased by 240,000 sqm so far this year, according to the survey, with 56,000 sqm recorded in the third quarter alone. There is currently 3.75 million sqm of office space in Warsaw, with takeup reaching 123,300 sqm. This represents a 7-percent increase compared with the second quarter, and a 30 percent increase compared with the same period last year.
At the end of the third quarter, however, the vacancy rate stood at 8.1 percent, reflecting 0.7 percent increase compared with the second quarter of 2012. Rent levels for Warsaw’s prime assets remained stable in the third quarter, according to DTZ, reaching up to €27 per sqm per month.
