Warsaw’s new office supply hit a new record in the second quarter of the year, with the most recent figures from the Polish Office Research Forum showing 16 new project being completed in the city in the three-month period. The addition of 350,100 sqm of space pushes Warsaw’s total office stock to 4.98 million sqm of space. The increase has put pressure on vacancy rates which rose again in Q2 by 1.3 percent y-o-y to 15.4 percent, representing 767,300 sqm of vacant space.
Nearly 51 percent of new supply was delivered in the Warsaw’s CBD locations. Surprisingly, in these locations vacancy stood at 17.6 percent in Q2 2016, while in non-CBD locations vacancy was at 14.4 percent in the period.
