The Bainum Family Foundation has closed on the $45.4 million sale of the Fairmont Building in downtown Bethesda, Maryland. The 125,108 sqf building was purchased by Washington Capital Management, on behalf of a client. Located on Old Georgetown Road, the 12-storey building features a six-level parking garage and was 96 percent leased at the time of the sale. The JLL Capital Markets team of senior managing directors Jim Meisel and Andrew Weir,senior director Matthew Nicholson and director David Baker represented the seller during the sale.
