A new €26m water treatment plant in Prilep, Macedonia’s fourth largest city, is set for completion by the end of the year.
“This station is one of the largest regional projects that will solve the issue of waste water treatment in Prilep. It is co-funded by the European Union’s IPA program and the government,” said Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski, who recently visited the site. “By the end of the year the station will be finished, while reconstruction of 65 km of pipes will be done by early 2017.”
