Czech billionaire Radovan Vítek, owner of CPI Property Group, lost his fight to keep Radio Free Europe’s headquarters in Prague 10-Hagibor. The modern complex was built by Orco and taken over by Vítek when the developer went bankrupt. The court decided that the RFE headquarters will go to Wells Fargo Bank, which financed the project, and it will not be part of the bankrupt company’s assets. Vítek and the insolvency manager for the SPV Hagibor Office Building were making efforts to gain control of the RFE building, claiming that the sale of the building back in 2012 was not valid.
