Over the last two years, West Gate tenants, including Ericsson, Dacia Renault and Societe Generale, have expanded their space at the Bucharest office building by a total of 15,000 sqm. Liviu Tudor, who heads Genesis Development Group, the company behind the project, said he tries to meet the needs of tenants by keeping space free within the project. The Romanian businessman says the inability to expand within a building is a common factor in a company’s decision to relocate. Tudor says he doesn’t start building new projects until he secures 80 percent in pre-leases.
