White Star Real Estate broke ground on a HUF 15bn business park in Budapest. The first phase of the 61,000 sqm project, called “park22,” is scheduled for completion in 2020. The park will feature six warehouses totaling 46,000 sqm, as well as 11,000 of office space. White Star’s 350,000 sqm, €450m Hungarian portfolio includes projects like Infopark “A,” Alkotas Point, M1 Business Park, Airport Business Park and Market Central Ferihegy. The company is active in several CEE countries, including the Czech REpublic, Poland, Romania and Slovakia, where it has developed around 2.3 million sqm.
