21 July 2022

White Star Real Estate (WSRE) is actively developing its operations in the field of operational and technical management to provide its business partners with comprehensive real estate services. The WSRE strategy aims to maximize results through operational synergies and flexibility in adapting to rapidly changing market conditions. As a manager, WSRE offers the highest quality and generates added value thanks to its long-term ownership perspective and qualified team.

At the end of June 2022, WSRE was managing 838,000 sqm GLA in Poland and 1.7 million sqm GLA in Central and Eastern Europe.

In recent months, White Star Real Estate has hired Justyna Williams and Sylwia Orzeł in key positions in the Asset & Property Management department, while Tomasz Kaczmarek has joined the team as the operational director responsible for the Facility Management part.

The basic values of WSRE in the area of asset, property and facility management are the provision of services of the highest quality, constant search for added value and supporting our business partners in achieving long-term success. In addition, at WSRE, we focus very much on ESG activities that have the greatest positive impact on the natural, social and business environment. We undertake a number of actions to reduce the carbon footprint, support many foundations and social initiatives, and operate in accordance with anti-corruption laws and regulations, as well as industry best practices.

At WSRE, we are not only a service provider, but also an owner, which is our main competitive advantage and innovative proposition on the commercial real estate market.

At WSRE, Justyna Williams took the position of Associate Director and will be responsible for business development and sales of management services to external clients, thus implementing the company’s current strategy.

Justyna brings 16 years of experience in the field of commercial real estate management to WSRE. Before joining the WSRE team, Justyna worked at JLL as the director of commercial property management. Previously, she was the manager of shopping center development at Cushman & Wakefield and for several years she managed over 450 properties at Tesco Polska (including commercial facilities, offices, warehouses and land real estate).

Sylwia Orzeł was employed at WSRE as a Key Account and took over supervision of a new project – Polskie Zakłady Optyczne in Warsaw. Her duties will also include supporting operational and recruitment processes in the field of new facilities in the management of WSRE.

Sylwia has over 10 years of experience in the commercial real estate market. She worked both on the side of the consulting agency and the developer, which is why she knows both management perspectives. Before joining White Star Real Estate, Sylwia managed Hala Koszyki – the first mixed-use project of this type in Poland. Sylwia has been the director of the Hall since its opening in 2016.

Tomasz Kaczmarek joined the WSRE team as the Director of the Facility Management Department. Tomek has over 20 years of experience in creating effective organizations. He built from scratch a structure consisting of over 750 employees in 14 locations in Poland and Europe. Directly before joining WSRE, Tomasz managed teams at Iron Mountain for many years as Regional Operations Director, and then Operations Director for Poland.
From December 2020, at White Star Real Estate, Tomasz has built several technical teams that successfully deal with such facilities as Elektrownia Powiśle, Polskie Zakłady Optical, office buildings X2 and X20, or the newly built complex The Park Kraków.

“White Star, based on its many years of experience in development and ownership, is currently developing a line of consulting services for external clients.” – comments Artur Lis, Director of the Asset Management Department at White Star Real Estate. – “We believe that facility owners are their best managers. At White Star, we manage our own projects and remain as managers on the buildings after their sale. We are also often invited to return to our former facilities. Our clients know that we treat each property as our own, which allows them to focus on strategic rather than operational management. For many years, as a manager, we have been trusted by, among others companies such as Generali, Reico or Tristan. The employment of Justyna Williams, Sylwia Orzeł and Tomasz Kaczmarek strengthens our management team and enables the development of this business line.”
