Wienerberger, which manufactures ceramic blocks, has acquired a brick factory in Berca, Romania, from Search Chemicals. Under the deal, Wienerberger will also take over a clay quarry.
Search Chemicals is owned by Omer Susli, who took over the Praktiker Romania network in 2014. The price of the deal was not disclosed. The bpv Grigorescu Ștefănică law firm advised Wienerberger during the transaction.
