Wildhorse rides with Hungarian companies in mining JV

Wildhorse Energy, an Australian energy company that holds a uranium mining licence in Hungary announced it has signed an agreement with the Hungarian government on a joint venture with state-owned companies. The aim is to restart Hungary’s uranium mining business in the Mecsek Hills. The joint venture brings together Wildhorse Energy, Mecsek-Öko, Mecsekérc and Hungarian Electricity Works (MVM). MVM is the owner of the Paks Nuclear Power Plant. The project’s goal is to develop the Hungarian nuclear sector by reducing reliance on imported energy sources.
