The manufacturer of steering and driving technology Willi Elbe Automotive Bulgaria just opened its €9m plant in the Plovdiv industrial zone Trakia. This is the company’s first plant in South-East Europe.
The facility will manufacture steering components for BMW and Mercedes-Daimler trucks, as well as cardan shafts for BMW vehicles. The new plant has created 150 new jobs for the region.
