Wilson & Partners is pleased to announce the successful completion of the sale of its client, TriGranit to TPG Real Estate, the real estate arm of the global private investment firm TPG. As part of the transaction, TPG acquired a portfolio of office and retail assets predominantly located in Poland, with select exposure to other key Central European locations.
TriGranit, with operational and capital support from TPG Real Estate, will build on its leading Central European real estate platform, focused on office and retail projects. The company, with offices in Budapest, Warsaw, Krakow and Bratislava will pursue a full spectrum of real estate activities including acquisitions, development, construction, and property and asset management. The senior management team will remain with the company after the transaction.
The Wilsons legal team was led by the partner in charge of the Bratislava office, Robert Danis, who was supported by other members of the Slovak team, Daniel Pisák, Peter Gruca and Jana Žilavá. The Wilsons team was involved in the Slovak part of the transaction, which also included TPG acquiring a portfolio of office and retail assets in Hungary, Poland and other CEE countries.

TriGranit has been regarded as one of the biggest and most successful real estate development groups in Central and Eastern Europe for the past 20 years, and in Slovakia it has been known for its successful development of the POLUS CITY CENTER and two high rise office buildings which have since been sold to Immofinanz Group.
Wilson & Partners have acted for TriGranit in the past on several acquisitions and disposals in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and the completion of this latest deal adds another major project to the firm’s long list of successful transactions carried out during the past year.
