WinDoor to be bought out for $102 million

The security windows and door supplier PGT has acquired Orlando-based WinDoor Inc. for $102 million. WinDoor, which provides windows and doors to luxury condos, homes and resorts, will continue operations under a separate brand name once the deal is finalized. If the deal falls through, PGT will have to pay WinDoor a $2 million reverse termination fee. PGT is the largest employer in Sarasota County, with approximately 1,900 employees and sales of $306 million last year.
