Low-cost carrier Wizz Air will start open three new flight routes from Sofia by the end of the year. The new destinations include Basel, Doncaster and Nuremberg.
Wizz Air’s main competitor on the Bulgarian market is Ryanair, which recently announced that its base in Sofia will open in September, and 21 new destinations will be added by November.
