The low-cost flight operator Wizz Air will open a new base in Varna, in July 2017. This is the company’s 27th base in Europe. For the new base, Wizz Air will have an Airbus A320 stationed at the airport. The flight operator is investing €93m in the base in Varna and has employed 250 people to handle its running.
From Varna, Wizz Air will be maintaining flights to Dortmund, Eindhoven, Larnaca, Milan Bergamo, London Luton, Sofia and Munich Memmingen.
