The low-cost airline Wizz Air announced plans to set up a €13.8m training center in Budapest. Construction will start in March and is scheduled to take 10 years to complete. The new center will include an Airbus A320 flight simulator, a passenger compartment and a facility where fire drills can be held. The center will be located at Liszt Ferenc International Airport and will allow Wizz Air to train 90 percent of its employees in Budapest. Wizz Air CEO József Váradi said that 500 of its pilots and 1,000 flight attendants will take part in training this summer.
