The Polish branch of Schneider Electric, a company repeatedly recognized around the world as one of the most sustainable companies, appointed Wojciech Świątek to the newly created position of director for sustainable development at the beginning of July. In his new role, Wojciech Świątek will be responsible for the implementation of the company’s strategy related to the area of sustainable development and supporting the company’s cooperation with customers and partners in this area.
Wojciech Świątek has been associated with Schneider Electric since 1997. Over the years, he has worked in various SE organizations and teams in positions related to marketing, strategy and business development, incl. in France, Russia and the CIS countries. Since 2013, he has been working in Poland, most recently performing, among others, the duties of the business development director for the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine. In his last role, he was responsible, inter alia, for the implementation of long-term development plans for the company’s operations in Poland and the region, development of national strategic plans and cooperation with key clients and partners.
In his new position, Wojciech Świątek will implement the company’s strategy related to achieving local goals of sustainable development, decarbonisation and energy transformation, providing clients and partners with access to extensive expert knowledge and appropriate technology, as well as transplanting into the local ground the best practices developed over the years in other markets, adjusting them to local conditions.

As early as 2005, as an organization, we began to monitor our impact on people and the planet, helping customers save over 120 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions during this time and providing access to energy for approximately 30 million people around the world. I am all the more glad that having been in the organization for so many years, I can combine the competences and knowledge gained so far with Schneider Electric’s extensive experience in implementing the principles of sustainable development,” says Wojciech Świątek, director of sustainable development at Schneider Electric.
Wojciech Świątek is a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology in the field of industrial automation and management and the University of Westminster in London in the field of digital signal processing.
